An email account with the extension “studentnumber@gazi.edu.tr” is automatically created for all students who have registered at Gazi University.

To activate your email account and use the EDUROAM system, please follow the steps below in order:

1. OBS Login
   Students who have not previously created an OBS password should log in to OBS via e-Government → and create a new password from the User Operations > Set Password menu.
   Students who already have an OBS password can skip this step.
2. Email Request System
   Log in to the Email Request System using your student number and OBS password.
   In the "Update Password" section, reset your password to be the same as your OBS password.
3. Email Account Login
   Go to the G.U. Mail System (Gazi Zimbra) page and log in with your email address (studentnumber@gazi.edu.tr) and your OBS password.
4. EDUROAM (University Wi-Fi)
   After successfully logging into your email account, you can connect to the university Wi-Fi network by following the EDUROAM connection steps in the Useful Links section.
